    IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS This manual contains important instructions for the 9700 Series Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems that should be followed during installation and maintenance of the UPS and batteries. Lethal voltages exist within the equipment during operation. Observe all warning and cautions in this manual.

    UPS. The UPS is simple to start-up, operate and maintain. The 9700 Series UPS is available in five kVA sizes-100, 150, 225, 300, 375kVA. Specifications for each kVA model appear in Section 1.3. The principles of operation described herein are applicable to all models.
