These power supplies are auto-switching capable and operate at a 100v to 240v input voltage. Troubleshooting This chapter provides information about BIOS error beep codes, power supply modules and drive failures. BIOS Error Beep Codes During the POST (Power-On Self-Test) routines, which are performed each time the system is powered on, errors may occur. Non-fatal errors Are those which, in most cases, allow the system to continue the boot-up process.
Chapter 9 Troubleshooting Power Supply Module Failure If a failure occurs with one of the redundant power supply modules, an alarm is generated. It is essential that both power supply modules be connected at all times, therefore it is recommended that the failed module be replaced immediately to maintain full power redundancy.
