Operating Instructions:
1. Screw the boat aerial on to the aerial mounting on the boat.
2. Extend the transmitter (handset) aerial fully and turn it "ON", ensuring the sliding trims are all central.
3. Connect the boat batteries and the boat will turn "ON". Turn the boat "OFF" using the push button.
4. If you open the hopper door using the transmitter then you MUST wait for 15-20 seconds for the door
release catch to return to its position naturally, if you force its return manually, then you will stretch
the door release mechanism.
5. To position your rig in the boat, pass the rig under the back of the boat and up through the open space
behind the hopper compartment. Place the rig inside the hopper ensuring that the line passes through
the space in the line guards. Load the rest of your free offering bait into the hopper.
6. Turn the boat "ON" by pressing the "ON/OFF" button and using the right-hand joystick steer the boat
to its destination. At the desired position release the bait and your rig by moving the left-hand joystick
to the left or right which will release the door and your rig and free offerings will drop from the boat.
7. When the hopper door is released the boat LED's will go "OFF" until the joystick is back in the
central position and the hopper has opened. When the bait and line has been released guide the boat
to you.
8. To get a minimum turning circle simply ensure the boat is not moving and move the right-hand joystick
to the left or right (3 O'clock or 9 O'clock) leaving the joystick in the neutral position as far as forward
and reverse is concerned.
9. Moving the left-hand joystick forwards and backwards controls the navigational LED's. Starting with
the joystick fully back, the LED's will be switched "off". As you move the joystick up the LED's will
come "on" and get brighter, until you come to the last 4-5mm of movement and then the spotlight
will also come "on". To turn the spotlight only "off" then move the joystick back down until it goes "off"
but the navigational LED's stay "on".
10. Remove the Technicat from the water and gently close the hopper door. Switch the boat "off" by
pressing the button again.
11. Switch "off" the transmitter.
