Is level of pin (1) of CN8102 at High? Are you communicating with the drive via ATAPI? Pin (37) CS0_ and pin (38) CS1_ of CN8102 occasionally turn to "L".

Check the peripheral circuits of each transistor.

Check the switch between Remote control 1, 2 and 3. Is 5V voltage supplied to pin (3) of RMC1202 Remote control Check the AT_5V line.
