    Assembly Page_1 Insert the washers as shown on the telescop c shaft. Install the telescop c shaft to ts locat on on the search co l. Secure by t ghten ng the screw and nut. Loosen the tw st lock before mount ng the telescop c shaft to the upper rod. Press down the p n and engage the p eces together and t ghten the tw st lock after the p n s cl cked nto the hole.

    3 search modes adapted to d fferent ground cond t ons and target types are offered by the GOLD RACER. Names of the search modes are def ned as All Metal, DISC.1, and DISC.2 on the screen. You can eas ly sw tch between the modes by us ng the d rect on keys dur ng your search.

    Factory Default /Save (FD/Save) W th the FD/Save feature of the GOLD RACER, you can save your sett ngs or restore factory defaults. Th s sett ng appears on both s des of the screen and has the same funct on. Save funct on saves all sett ngs except for the ground balance and the Aud o Boost n the All Metal mode.

    Ground Balance Page_12 Ground balance can be performed by three ways n GOLD RACER: Automat c, Manual and Track ng. If the tr gger s pushed forward wh le perform ng automat c or manual ground balance, the dev ce w ll sw tch to the All Metal mode automat cally on the background w thout any nd cat on to the user, regardless of the selected search mode.
