Programming a Playlist

When play is stopped, you can select up to 20 CD tracks
(or 99 MP3 tracks) to play in any order that you choose.
1. Press the key [21] to make sure that playback
has stopped.
2. Press the PROG/P-MODE key [19]. The current
playlist number "P01" will appear and the "PRO-
GRAM" indicator will flash on the LCD screen [15].
3. Use the
or key [23, 24] to choose a track to
enter into the playlist.
4. Press the PROG/P-MODE key [19] to save the track
into the playlist. The next playlist track number
will appear on the LCD screen [15] (e.g., "P02").
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until your playlist is complete,
then press the PROG/P-MODE key [19] to finish the
playlist.
6. Press the
/ USB key [22]. Play will start from the
first track in the playlist.
7. Press the key [21] to stop the programmed play-
list. Open the CD compartment [3] to delete the
program and return to normal playback.

Set the FUNCTION switch [11] to the TAPE position to
start using the cassette tape player.

About the Cassette Keys

The cassette keys are located below the cassette com-
partment [25]. They are numbered 26 to 31 in the sec-
tion "At a Glance" and throughout this manual.
You can learn more about their functions in the section
"At a Glance."

Playing a Cassette Tape

Do not use C120 cassettes or other special-

ized cassettes with this player.
1. Open the Cassette compartment [25]. Press the
TAPE
key [30] while playback is stopped.
