Each set of five LED indicators resides above each of the four Output buttons. LED indicators 1 through 4 represent each input on the matrix.

Presets are retained in memory even if the matrix is powered OFF. NOTE: Routing presets cannot be saved using the IR remote control unit.

This feature is useful in preventing routing or other changes caused by accidentally bumping or pressing the buttons on the front panel.

There may be situations where the IR sensor is blocked by a cabinet or other mounting device. In this case, the included IR extender (Gefen part no. EXT-RMT-EXTIRN) can be connected to the IR Ext port on the matrix. The sensor on the IR extender behaves exactly like the sensor on the front panel of the matrix.
