    Welcome to the 3 Mobile Broadband USB modem. 3’s Mobile Broadband USB modem gives you true wireless broadband on the go. Surf the web, download files, manage your email and more — you’ll be amazed. 3’s USB modem supports HSDPA, meaning you will get faster data speeds on 3’s HSDPA upgraded network.

    Connect to the internet. There are two ways to connect to the internet - using the phone icon in the menu bar or by launching MobileConnect from the Applications folder. Connecting via the phone icon is the simplest way to connect to the internet however, if you’re roaming and want to select a network other than 3, you need to connect using MobileConnect.

    > APN field should show 3netaccess. > The statusbar message indicates Status: Contacting PPP Server. > While a connection is being made, the statusbar shows: Status: Authenticating User. > You can now surf the web! Roaming. > The USB modem works on both 2G and 3G mobile networks but is set to ‘3G only’ as the default.

    Safety Guidelines. > Avoid storing your USB modem in extreme temperatures. > Store your USB modem in a dry and clean environment. > Avoid spilling any liquid or immersing your USB modem in water. > Do not place any labels on your USB modem or the SIM card as this could interfere with the USB modem or SIM card slot when inserting.
