To clean the interior of a Maytag MDB6000 dishwasher:
1. Place baking soda in both detergent cups. 2. Select the China/Crystal cycle and let water circulate for about 10 minutes. 3. Stop the dishwasher by unlatching the door and let it stand overnight. 4. Restart the dishwasher by latching the door and let it complete the cycle.
Alternatively, use a commercial dishwasher cleaner according to package directions. Also, periodically check and clean the bottom of the tub for large particles and wipe the inner door liner to remove food soil splashes.
