^ Wait for approx. 20 seconds before refitting the drawer in
the appliance.
The indicator light 2 will go out.
Once the descaling process has started, the residual
water drawer cannot be removed unless prompted by the
indicator light 2.
Otherwise, the hot water from the drawer may cause injury
and/or damage to property if spilled.
The indicator light k lights up.
^ Empty the water container. Fill the water container to the
descaling symbol k with fresh tap water (approx. 25 °C to
35 °C) and place a Miele descaling tablet (see 'Optional
accessories') in the water container.
Ensure that you adhere to the mixing ratio for the descaling
tablets. It is important that you do not fill the water container
with more or less water than prescribed. The descaling
programme will otherwise be cancelled prematurely.
^ Wait for approx. 20 seconds before refitting the water
container in the appliance.
The indicator light k will go out.
