(1) Optical system initialization errors

1 Turn the power supply ON/OFF, then visually check that the following units are initialized.

Q1: Does the carriage function? (Follow "YES" if the carriage functions even slightly, or sounds as
if it is trying to function.)

Q2: Is carriage initialization normal?
Q3: Is the Service Call message displayed after the lens and mirror move?
YES
Q4: Use the
TEST MODE CH
paper-exit position (enlargement position), then turn the power supply ON and OFF again.
When the power is turned ON again, do the lens and/or mirror make an out-of-step noise at
the home position?

Check if J11, J82 are correctly connected.
Check if fuse on PS-ACC is connected.

Check item 2 "Carriage Errors".
NO
Check item 3 "Lens and Mirror Errors".
( ) command code 21 or 22 to move the lens and mirror to the

For some reason LNS-SW and MRR-SW are not switched ON/
OFF correctly:
Check visually if LNS-SW and MRR-SW can clear the bracket.
Check for disconnection or short circuiting around pins J80, J81,
J11, J51, J52, J4.
Issue the
