My photo is
too bright.
www.hp.com/photosmart
Possible cause
There was not enough
light.
The flash was on, but the
subject was too far away.
Your finger blocked the
flash.
The flash provided too
much light.
There was too much light
provided by a natural or
artificial source other
than the flash.
You were too close to the
subject to use the flash.
Solution
Wait for natural lighting conditions to improve or use the
flash to illuminate your subject (see "Using the flash" on
page 39).
The flash can only illuminate objects that are within 3m
(about 9 1/2 ft.) of the camera. Make sure your subject
is within range of the flash when you take the photo.
Be sure to move your fingers away from the flash when
you are ready to take a photo.
Change the flash setting to Auto or Off (see "Using the
flash" on page 39).
Try taking the photo from a different angle. Avoid
pointing the camera directly toward a bright light or
reflective surface on a sunny day. Use the On flash
setting if there is light behind your subject.
Move back from the subject or set the flash to Off and
take the photo again.
