Recording Timer

Set the correction values in the Recording Timer menu for the start and end of EPG
recordings; the times displayed in the EPG are extended automatically for programming
by the duration of the lead-in and add-on time.
Lead-in time
You can specify a lead-in time to make sure that programmes that begin earlier than
planned are also recorded fully. Each recording starts earlier by the amount of time
specified by the lead-in time.

Select and confirm the desired lead-in time.
Add-on time
You can specify an add-on time to make sure that programmes that end later than
planned are also recorded fully. Each recording ends later by the amount of time speci-
fied by the add-on time.

Select and confirm the desired add-on time.
OSD Display
You can adjust the transparency and the time taken to display some menus. The OSD
Transparency and OSD Display Time options apply, for example, for the following
menus, which you can call up in live mode or for playback:

Picture and sound selection (menus Audio Setting, Video Channel, Subtitle,
Language)

Sender and favourite list
Transparency
You can set a transparency value for displaying the menus listed above.

> Settings > General > OSD Display > OSD Transparency

Select and confirm the desired transparency.
Values between 0 and 90 percent can be selected:
u
0% = No transparency
The current programme is obscured fully by the menu area.
u
90% = High transparency
The current programme can be seen clearly in the menu area.
