Self-timer

The self-timer allows you to take photos with a ten-second time
delay.
1 In the Photo Setting menu, select the
SELF-TIMER icon and then press the OK
( ) button to enter its setting menu.
2 Use the Up/Down button to select ON or
OFF, and then press the OK (
validate the setting.
3 Or press the Up button to highlight the
Return ( ) icon, and then press the OK
( ) button to exit.

Smile detection

The camcorder captures the photo automatically when it detects a smile.
1 In the Photo Setting menu, select the
SMILE DETECTION icon and then press
the OK ( ) button to enter its setting
menu.
2 Use the Up/Down button to select ON or
OFF, and then press the OK (
validate the setting.
3 Or press the Up button to highlight the
Return ( ) icon, and then press the OK
( ) button to exit.
4 In Record mode, aim the camcorder at the
smiling faces. The face frames will appear
around the face with smile. The camcorder
will focus on the subject, then it will
capture the photo automatically.
