D-8 System Board, Connectors, and Error Messages
Keyboard error.
The keyboard is not working. The keyboard
may need to be replaced.
Keyboard error nnnn .
BIOS discovered a stuck key and displays the
scan code nn for the key.
Keyboard locked—Unlock key switch.
Unlock the system to proceed.
System battery is dead. Replace and run
SETUP.
The CMOS clock battery that supports the
BIOS is dead.
Replace the battery and run the Setup Utility
program to reconfigure the system.
System CMOS Checksum bad – run SETUP.
System CMOS has been corrupted or modified
incorrectly, perhaps by an application program
that changes data stored in CMOS.
Run the Setup Utility program and reconfigure
the system, either by selecting the default
values and/or by making your own selections.
Monitor type does not match CMOS – Run
SETUP.
The monitor type is not correctly identified in
the Setup program.
Run the Setup Program.
