Specifying the Print Quantity
You can specify the number of prints (0 to nine) of a
frame to be produced at one time. This is useful as it
saves the trouble of having additional prints made and
can be used to avoid getting prints of unsuccessful
shots.
Note that you can only set or change the print quantity
for the frame about to be shot (next frame) or the
frame just shot (previous frame).
Setting the Print Quantity For the Next Frame

Select the Print
quantity mode.

Set the print quantity.
^ The setting changes each
time you press the m
button.

Take the picture.
^Taking one exposure
cancels the print quantity
setting.
pfj • The print quantity is automatically set to 1 (PI) when
you use negative film and "0" (P0) when you use slide
(reversal) film.
• If you specify the number of prints for the next frame
while the CF5 (Continuous shooting) Custom Function is
enabled, this sets the print quantity for all of the frames
about to be shot continuously.
