Use Battery Saver mode
When Battery Saver is on
Battery Saver helps you keep going on a low battery until the next charge.
To save power, your phone will:

Turn on Dark theme (You can
•
Wait until you look at an app to refresh its content, like email or news
•
Stop apps from doing things in the background (like listening for you to say "Hey Google")
•
Stop using Location services when your screen is off
When the phone is in Battery Saver mode, you'll see
Turn Battery Saver on or off
Turn it on/off yourself
Open quick settings
and tap
Have it turn on automatically
To turn on when your battery is below a specified level:
1.
Open quick settings, then touch & hold
2.
Tap Power saving optimization > Low power saver and turn Save power when low battery on
3.
Touch Set value of low power and select a percentage.
Tip: To turn Battery Saver off when your phone is charging, turn Exiting power saving mode when
charging on
. When you unplug the phone, Battery Saver turns back on.
To set a schedule:
1.
Open quick settings, then touch & hold
2.
Touch Power saving optimization > Schedule power saving.
3.
Enter start and end times.
4.
Touch Battery mode during this time, and make sure that Power saving mode is selected.
