Programming the TRICK
Encoders
Three encoders are provided to support the following functions;
Disconnect - sent to radio when call is to be disconnected
Acknowledge - acknowledge received select V calls
Alarm - power supply alarms
The following configuration options are provided for each encoder;
Telegram length
Prolonged tone
Prolonged tone length
Preamble length
Decoders
4 decoders are provided, each with the following programmable configuration parameters;
Prolonged tone
Prolonged tone length
Telegram length (Tone 1 to Tone 11)
Send acknowledge
Decoder function;

Configuration Menu
Two categories of options are available from the Configuration Menu; Computer Communications
Port Selection and RSS Language Selection. The two categories are described below:
Computer Communications Port Selection
This menu is used to select the COM port to which the RIB is connected. The selected COM port is
indicated with a "
ie. if the RIB is connected to COM port 1, the port selection menu should read as follows;
