MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) units require regular filter maintenance (cleaning or
replacement). The Airflow MVHR units have been designed to facilitate convenient access to the filters with easy
maintenance in mind. The Airflow filters are tested and compliant with ISO 16890.
This filter replacement guide is specific for the following products:
Filter replacement indication
The safety switch automatically turns off the power when the upper door of the unit is opened
Always disconnect the power plug before starting the ventilation unit maintenance.
The reminder of the filter change interval is indicated by flashing LEDs depending upon the chosen interval time (3,
6, 9 or 12 months).
To reset the filter display: Press the S (Speed) button and M (Mode) button simultaneously for 2 seconds to start
configuration:
Press the S button and M button for 8 seconds.

  • Page 2 The upcoming filter change will be indicated on the controller by the “flashing” LEDs. Proceed as follows: 1. Remove internal grille (fig.1). 2. Replace the Coarse 50% filter (fig.2) 3. The internal grille is re-inserted after the filter has been changed. Ensure that the internal grille is re-inserted with the opening at the top.
