Bypass
The "Bypass" function (Bypass DC Link [V]) is an add-on function of "Black Start" mode and is only
available in this operating mode (see "Black start (Page 23)").
This function makes it possible to switch off initial voltage monitoring. This allows the energy
storage system to be started independently of the DC link voltage.
Malfunctions of the energy storage system
Ensure that no other device can control the DC link voltage in "Black Start" mode, as
malfunctions of the energy storage system are otherwise possible.

High Dynamic
The "High Dynamic" function is an add-on function of "Peak Shaving" mode and is only available
in this operating mode. The "High Dynamic" function can be used where necessary in order to
increase the dynamic response when switching between the boost and recuperation modes.
This increased dynamic response necessitates a higher energy consumption by the SINAMICS
DCPs, which has an impact on the energy balance.
