2 Configuration and Operation
In a case where no priorities are set for frequencies defined in the scanner, the
CPE will scan all frequencies. Once the scan is complete, the CPE will try to
connect to the BS with the highest CINR.

PUSC MODE

"PUSC mode" configuration for a scanner is used only when a BS works in PUSC
mode to set a specific PUSC segment that a CPE should scan. Setting this
parameter might help to lock the CPE on a certain BS in a situation where a CPE is
located on the border edge between two different PUSC segments. However, this
setting should be carefully used as it may cause a CPE to connect to a weaker
signal if the wrong PUSC segment is defined.
NOTE
When a BS works in a PUSC mode, the "PUSC Mode" in the scanner can be set
to "All subchannels" and doesn't have to be set to a specific PUSC segment.
