Connect the COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks on the Recorder to the corresponding input jacks on the TV using Y P

When you cannot use the screen, you can change resolution for the component VIDEO OUT by pressing RESOLU-
TION button in TV watching mode or in Home menu mode (Refer to "Resolution setting" on page 46.)

(Option C) Connections to your TV (Composite)

Connect the VIDEO OUT jack on the Recorder to the video in jack on the TV using the video cable
supplied V. Connect the Left and Right AUDIO OUT jacks on the Recorder to the audio left/right in jacks on the TV
using the supplied audio cables A.
If you use this connection, set the TV's source selector to VIDEO.
