The scanner is a process device for the image recording of letter mail. The
scanner is intended for installation in electrical postal automation systems or
machines.
Any other scanner usage is not permitted!
All safety instructions have to be followed.
Installation and start-up of the scanner in a machine is only permitted if the
machine corresponds to the local safety regulations for electrical and
electronic equipment.
Please refer to the respective machine documentation for technical data and
connection condition information. Always adhere to the details contained
therein.
Protect the scanner against unapproved conditions. Ensure that components
are not bent or damaged during transport, handling and operation.
The scanner contains sensitive mechanical and electrical components. Never
put the scanner into operation if these components are damaged.
Improper use
Any usage other than those indicated above will result in damage to this
product.
Moreover, improper use can cause hazardous situations, e.g. short circuit,
fire, electric shock, etc.
Do not modify or adapt any part of the product.
Always strictly adhere to any disassembly instructions in the scanner
documentation.
Do not damage or remove any stickers attached to the product.
Danger!
Danger due to the incorrect handling of the scanner
Incorrect handling of the scanner can result in personal injuries and
damage to the environment and assemblies.
Only fully qualified personnel should handle the scanner!
Operators and maintenance personnel have to ensure that they have
sufficient knowledge.
Always observe the safety instructions of the system into which the
scanner components are to be installed.
