Installation in a neighbouring unit:
If more than one DOS module is being used, or if the liquid agent
containers are to be stored with the DOS module, a suitable unit is
available from Miele.
Make sure hoses are laid without kinks.
DOS module K 85 is supplied with a flow meter which monitors the
dispensing of liquid media.
Highly viscous chemical agents can cause problems with dispenser
monitoring. In this case the dispenser monitoring system for labo‐
ratory applications should be switched off by Miele Service.
The strain relief provided with the DOS module for the dispensing ho‐
ses is fitted to the back of the washer-disinfector to prevent the hoses
from dislodging themselves from the dispenser connections during
use.
The flow meter and strain relief must only be fitted and commis‐
sioned by a Miele technician or approved person.
Pull the safety cap off the end of the hose.
The safety cap on the DOS module hose is for transport protection.
Connect the hose to the dispenser connection on the washer-disin‐
fector.
With DOS K 85 the flow meter has to be fitted between the DOS
module and the dispenser connection.
Connect the module to the electricity supply.
Connections for the electricity supply and the dispensing hose are
located at the back of the washer-disinfector.
(These are described in detail in the Operating instructions for your
washer-disinfector).
