Selecting the Picture Enhancement

(E.P.M.*)
You can easily select a preferred picture enhancement.

Press E.P.M. while pressing SHIFT.
The picture enhancement menu

appears.

2 Select the picture enhancement by
pressing E.P.M. while pressing SHIFT or
by pressing / .
Each time you press the button, the picture
enhancement changes.
Normal:
Standard black level (7.5 IRE).
Enhanced Black Level:
Enhanced Black Level (0 IRE).
Movie 1:
Brightness levels raised for
enhanced picture quality.
Movie 2:
For deeper, richer color
reproduction.
Animation:
For enhanced color contrast.
To exit the picture enhancement selection
Press ENTER.
Alternatively leave the DVD video
player unattended for about 5 seconds
after having made a selection.

selection according to your preference.
