Installing the Device to a Specified Position
The EGW2100 can be directly placed on a clean workbench, or installed in a 19-inch cabinet that complies with the standard
of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). When the EGW2100 is installed in the cabinet, a minimum of 100-mm
distance is required between the mounting surface of the front columns and the back of the front door.
The following respectively illustrate the process of installing the device to the specified positions.
The contents in Part 1 and Part 2 are parallel. Read one part according to the actual condition.

Mounting the Device onto the Workbench

Checking the Workbench

Verify the location of the workbench.
Ensure that the workbench is near the grounding point and the power socket and can be operated conveniently.
Ensure that there is no obstacle around the workbench.

Ensure that the workbench is table.

Ensure that the workbench is strong enough to sustain the weight of EGW2100 (about 5kg).

Installing the Device onto the Workbench

Place four rubber pads on the bottom of the device to help prevent scratching the surface of
your desktop or chassis.

Put the device on the workbench steadily.

Keep a spacing of 10 cm between a side of the EGW2100 and other devices ( or the wall) to
maintain good ventilation.
