    Battery life You can expect the remote to operate for about 6 months (using a Sony CR2025 lithium battery) before the battery runs down. When the battery no longer operates the remote, replace the battery with a new one.

    Setting the time Turn on the system. Press CLOCK/TIMER SET on the remote. If you are setting the clock for the first time, go to step 5. Press – or + (. or >) on the remote repeatedly until “CLOCK SET?” appears in the display.
