Replacing the POE plug

This procedure is applicable only to the
ACS 751/651 with POE option.
1. Switch off the ACS 751/651.
2. Disconnect the mains supply.
3. Open the front service hatch and disconnect the
POE bottle from the connector.
4. Open the front panel.
5. Loosen the POE oil connection to the elbow and
disconnect the pipe.
6. Remove the POE plug and replace with a new plug.
7. Connect the POE oil connection to the elbow and
tighten the connection.
8. Close the front panel.
9. Open the front service hatch and connect the POE
bottle to the connector.

11.1

Replacing the vacuum pump

Warning - Danger of burns!
Hot surfaces on the vacuum pump can lead
to severe burns to the hands.
Allow vacuum pump to cool down before
repair.
Wear protective gloves.
Fig. 31:

1. Switch off the ACS 751/651.
2. Disconnect the mains connection.
3. Open the front, left and rear panels
(Chap. 6.2, 6.3, 6.5).
4. Disconnect the electrical connections to the vacuum
pump.
5. Disconnect the hose connections from the vacuum
pump.
6. Unfasten the screws on the support.
7. Disconnect the earthing connection on the support.
8. Hold the vacuum pump firmly along with the support
and place it outside the ACS 751/651.
9. Remove the support plate from the vacuum pump
and fix the new vacuum pump on the support plate.
10. Place the support back into position.
11. Restore the earthing connection on the support
plate.
12. Restore the hose connections.
13. Restore the electrical connections.
14. Add fresh vacuum pump oil.
15. Close the front and rear panels.
16. Check the function of the vacuum pump
(Chap. 11.2).
