Initial web handling system power-up tests
CAUTION:
1. Make sure of the following:
a. Mains supply Isolator switch is off.
b. External main cabinet switch is off.
c. UPS's are switched off.
d. All the printing engines are turned off.
Make sure that all switches in the printing engines and PFU are turned off.
e. the two writing head switches are off.
f. Connector cables JX9, JX8, and JX4 are connected.
g. All cabinet M1 and M2A circuit breakers and isolators are turned off.
NOTE:
At the mains and engine electronics cabinets
2. Make sure that the external mains cabinet supply isolator switch is off.
3. Turn the Mains Supply Isolator switch on.
WARNING:
A qualified and certified local electrician should
verify the following:
Correct power up voltage and current for the press
as described in the customer's site preparation
guide.
Earth continuity at the electrical cabinets and the
press.
Phase order (only for press without inverters) at the
rear door of cabinet M1.
When testing the 3-phase mains power at a circuit breaker,
use a DVM.
The system is electrically alive. Take care not to
touch any live parts inside the electrical cabinets.
