f The [FILTER SETTING] screen is displayed.

Press as to select [FILTER TYPE].

Press qw to select [LONG LIFE].

Press as to select [FILTER COUNTER RESET], and press the
<ENTER> button.
10) When the confirmation screen is displayed, press qw to select
[OK], and press the <ENTER> button.
f The [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [STATUS] → [FILTER
COUNTER] is displayed as "0".
Attention
f When use of the Long Life Filter Unit is finished and replaced with the standard air
filter unit attached to the projector, make sure to reset the filter counter after setting the
[PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [FILTER SETTING] → [FILTER TYPE] to [NORMAL]. When
the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [FILTER SETTING] → [FILTER COUNTER RESET] is
executed, the filter counter is reset.
Note
f Continuing to use the projector with incorrect [FILTER TYPE] setting may cause failure of the
projector.
f When the projector is used without resetting the filter counter, the actual filter runtime (counter
numeric value) will not be able to be confirmed.
f For maintenance of the Long Life Filter Unit, refer to "Maintenance of filter" in the Operating
Instructions of the projector.
