3.13.1

Defining the dry run feedrate

Before machining a workpiece, test the program without moving the machine axes. This
allows for early detection of programming errors. For this test, you can use a dry run feedrate
that you have defined.
This defined feedrate replaces the programmed feedrate during execution if you have
selected "Dry run feedrate" under "Program control".
Procedure
Note
The feedrate can be changed while the operation is running.

1. Select the "Machine" operating area.
2. Press the "AUTO" key.
3. Press the menu forward key and the "Settings" softkey.
The "Settings for Automatic Operation" window is opened.
4. In "DRY run feedrate," enter the desired dry run speed.
