4 .1 .3 On the Null Detector, set the OPR/ZERO switch to ZERO and adjust for zero on the 3 1.1V range. Set the Null
Detector 0PR/ZERO switch to OPR.
4 .1 .4 Set the Tl to the first range listed in the Range column of Table 3.
4 .1 .5 Set the Null Detector Range switch to the 30 V position.
4 .1 .6 Set the Calibrator for the first value listed in the Applied column of Table 3.
4 .1 .7 Set the DC Reference Divider MODE switch to the first position listed in the DC Ref Div column of
Table 3.
4 .1 .8 Set the Calibrator OPR/STBY switch to OPR.
4 .1 .9 Adjust the Calibrator Edit controls to obtain a null while increasing the sensitivity of the Null Detector to
maximum with less than full scale deflection.
4 .1 .10 Set the Null Detector Range switch to the 1000 V position.
4 .1 .11 Divide or multiply the DC Reference Standard Certified Value by the factor listed in the Factor column of
Table 3.
4 .1 .12 The Tl must indicate the value obtained in step 4 .1 .11 ± the values listed in the corresponding Limits column of
Table 3.
4 .1 .13 Set the Calibrator OPR/STBY switch to STBY.
4 .1 .14 Repeat steps 4 .1 .4 through 4.1 .13 for each remaining range, applied and DC Reference Divider value listed in
Table 3 .
