3. In most systems with access control, an "Alarm Code Prefix" is used. The Alarm Code Prefix is the number of digits not to
enter at the beginning of your full PIN code to make the door code and is programmed by the installer. For example. Alarm
Code Prefix = 2 digits. Full PIN code = 123456. Door PIN code is therefore 3456.
