Functions during a call

Muting the handset

You can mute your handset during a call, e. g. if you wish to talk confidentially to
another person in the room. The person on the line cannot hear your conversation dur-
ing this time. However, you can still hear him/her.

When redialling or when performing other functions such as an internal
enquiry call, mute is cancelled.

Making a call to several subscribers

You initiate a call to several subscribers through an enquiry call. You can then speak to
the other subscribers either one at a time ("toggling", page 27) or at the same time
("conference call", page 27).
External enquiry call
You want to call another external subscriber during an external or internal call.
The enquiry call from an external call to another external call can be set

so (page 74) that both ISDN lines are occupied (hold connection inter-
nally), or so that your second ISDN line remains free (hold connection
externally – HOLD).
To initiate an enquiry call:

The call to the first subscriber is now put on hold. If the connection is on hold internally
(page 74), the first subscriber will hear the set waiting melody (page 75).
Press the display key. The call is on hold.
To cancel mute:
Press the display key.
Open menu.
Select and confirm.
OK
Press the recall key.
