4 Is any of the discharge LEDs off?
5 Are the original glass (especially the
position of shading correction plate)
and CIS unit dirty?
6 Is the CIS unit degraded?

Clean the original glass.
Clean or replace them.
Clean the discharge LED.
Replace the discharge LED.
Clean them.
Replace the CIS unit.
