Adjust length of push stick so hand will clear blade guard and rip fence.
CAUTION: Make push stick from
plywood or softwood equal to or less
than the width of the material to be cut.

Notch to help prevent hand from slipping.
Cut off here to push 6.3 mm (1/4") wood.
Cut off here to push 12.7 mm (1/2") wood.
