Selecting the recording format for movies The camcorder is compatible with the XAVC S format. What is XAVC S? Charging the battery pack Turn off your camcorder by closing the LCD monitor, retract the viewfinder*, and attach the battery pack. Battery pack * Models with the viewfinder (FDR-AX33/AXP33/AXP35) only Connect the AC Adaptor and the power cord (mains lead) to your camcorder and the wall outlet (wall socket). -

Charging the battery using your computer Turn off your camcorder and connect the camcorder to a running computer using the Built-in USB Cable (page 52). • Change the setting of your computer so that it would not enter the sleep (hibernation) state before charging your camcorder. -
