Caution: The usage may differ when printing with a different version or edition of NiceLabel.

  • Page 5: Preparation Of The Printer

    Preparation of the Printer Insert the supplied CD into the computer, and set up the printer according to the setup tool instructions. Note: The printer driver is installed automatically if it has not been installed. After setup is complete, display the printer driver. Specify "User Defined Paper" as follows, and then click [Save].

    Preparation of NiceLabel Start NiceLabel to create a new label. Specify the printer. Select [EPSON GP-C831], then click [Next]. Note: When using GP-M831, select "EPSON GP-M831". Specify the Stock type. Select [<None>], then click [Next].
  • Page 8 Specify the Page size. Select "EPSON_LABEL" (media size you created using "Preparation of the Printer"), and then click [Next]. Specify the Orientation. Select [Portrait], then click [Next].

    Make sure you have the top and bottom margins of 1.5 mm and more, and left and right margins of 2.0 mm and more inside the label size.     Barcode Settings In the barcode properties, set the Narrow bar width to more than "4" dots. Note: When printing a barcode, there are recommended conditions according to the Media Type. If the recommended conditions are not followed, the printed barcode may not be read properly. For the recommended conditions, see the appendix.
