    Server Appliance Installation Guide Installation Steps 3.1 Step 1: Install the AirDefense Server Appliance The first step in deploying AirDefense Enterprise is to physically install the appliance in a rack and connect the cables. 1. Install the AirDefense Server in an equipment rack using the rails provided. 2.

Other configuration activities can occur either on the GUI or the CLI. AirDefense, Inc. recommends that you use the GUI.

All configuration steps are optional and can be finished at any time. The System Setup wizard starts automatically after you install or upgrade the system.
