MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Beforeperforming any type of maintenance/service, d isengageall controls
andstop the engine.Wait until all moving partshavecometo a complete
stop. Disconnect sparkplugwire and groundit againstthe engine to
prevent u nintendedstarting.

GENERAL EECOMMENDATIONS
CheckingEngine Oil
Beforelubricating, repairing,or inspecting, disengageall controlsandstop
engine.Wait until all movingparts havecometo acompletestop.
NOTE: C heck the oil levelbeforeeachuseto besurecorrect o il levelismaintained.
Whenaddingoil to the engine,refer to viscosity chartbelow.Engine oil capacity
is600ml (approx. 2 0oz.).Donot over-fill.Usea4-stroke, o r anequivalent h igh
detergent, p remiumquality motoroil certifiedto meetor exceed U.S. a utomobile
manufacturer's r equirements f orservice classification SG, S EMotoroilsclassified
SG, S F will showthisdesignation on thecontainer.
1.
Remove t he oil filler cap/dipstick andwipethe dipstickclean.
2.
Insertthe cap/dipstick into the oil filler neck,but do NOT screwit in.
3.
Remove t he oil filler cap/dipstick. I flevelislow,slowlyaddoil until oil level
registers betweenhigh(H)andlow (L).SeeFigure 18.
4.
Replace a ndtightencap/dipstick firmly beforestartingengine.
Changing EngineOil
NOTE: Change t he engineoil after the first 5 hours of operationandoncea season
or every50 hours thereafter.

Drainfuel fromtank byrunning engineuntil the fueltank isempty.Besure
fuelfill capissecure.
2.
Place suitableoil collectioncontainer u nderoil drainplug.
3.
Remove o il drainplug andwasher. S eeFigure 19on next page.
4.
Tipunit to drainoil intothe container. U sed oil mustbedisposed ofat a
propercollectioncenter.
