SETTING THE SECURITY LOCK

The security lock function is designed to prevent
accidental stopping of recording if the STOP button is
pressed inadvertenly.

While holding the TRACKING/V.STILL + button,
press the REC/PLAY SPEED button.
"ö" is displayed on the digital display.

To cancel the security lock, while holding the
TRACKING/V.STILL + button, press the REC/PLAY
SPEED button, "ö" will be erased from the digital
display.

SETTING THE SW OUT TERMINAL OUTPUT

While recording, different outputs can be selected for the
SW OUT terminal.

Press the MENU button to display the MENU 2 (SW
OUT).

Press the l (or j) button to set the "FIELD" (or
"FRAME").
With each press of the button, the setting will

NOTE:
If "TIMING" is set to FRAME (see step 4),
"FRAME" will be indicated instead of "FIELD".

Press the ] button.
The "TIMING" setting starts flashing.

NOTES:
While the security lock is engaged all commands,
except the one to cancel the security lock, are disabled.
The security lock cannot be engaged while a menu is
displayed.

Press the l (or j) button to set the "TIMING".
FIELD . . . 1 pulse is output after each set number of
fields.
FRAME. . 1 pulse is output after each set number of
frames.

Press the ] button.
The "8H" setting starts flashing.

Press the l (or j) button to set the "8H".
Y . . . . . . . When recording in 8-hour mode, a pluse
signal is output.
N. . . . . . . When recording in 8-hour mode, a pulse
signal is not output.

Press the PAUSE/SCAN button, the normal screen is
displayed.
The setting procedure is now completed.
