Viewing Video Data Recorded on
SRMemory Cards
You can view video data stored on an SRMemory card via
a web browser or HD monitor connected to the unit by
accessing the MEM CONTROL tab screen from the
HOME or IMPORT menu.
Using the control buttons in the MEM CONTROL tab
screen, you can perform operations such as play, pause,
fast forward, and rewind for the video data.
Note
To play back files stored on an SRMemory card, you must
configure the frame frequency and color space in the
SYSTEM FORMAT tab of the DIAGNOSIS menu
beforehand.
For details, see "Configuring the Monitor Output Signal"
on page 16.
Files in the file list are color coded as follows to show files'
playback ability which depends on format status.
White: Playback or import is possible. (Yellow text
indicates formats that differ from the system.)
Dark grey: Import is possible.
Light grey: Playback and import are not possible.
Notes
• The following restrictions apply when playing files off-
speed.
- Off-speed playback is not possible between interlaced
and progressive formats.

Basic Operations
- Sound is muffled when files with a frame frequency
below 29p are played in a system above 50p. (and vice
versa)
- The sound will not play correctly when off-speed
playback is performed at below 29p or above 50p.
• The timecode is output in its original system format
when off-speed playback is performed.
You can display a jog dial and adjust the size of the proxy
screen for the GUI of the MEM CONTROL tab screen.
The GUI is configured with the GUI TYPE setting in the
PROXY SETUP tab screen of the PROXY SETUP menu
(see page 14).

Importing Files

You can import files stored on an SRMemory card inserted
in the unit to the shared file server.

details about transferring video data recorded on a VTR to
a shared file server.

Click the IMPORT menu button in the web application
screen, and click the FILE SETUP tab.
The FILE SETUP tab screen appears.

Configure the following items.
Underlined values in the table indicate default settings.

AUDIO
Specifies the number of audio
channels to be added to the imported
files.
0CH: No audio channel is added.
2CH: Channel 1 to 2
4CH: Channel 1 to 4
6CH: Channel 1 to 6
8CH: Channel 1 to 8
10CH: Channel 1 to 10
12CH: Channel 1 to 12
14CH: Channel 1 to 14
16CH: Channel 1 to 16
Auto: Adds the channel numbers
stored in the imported files.
