    CONTROLS DRIVE SELECT LEVER The drive select lever is used to shift the golf car into forward or reverse. After coming to a complete stop, move the lever to the desired position.     PRE-OPERATION CHECKS Pre-operation checks should be made each time you use your golf car. Get in the habit of performing following checks in the same way so that they become second nature. To keep vehicle from moving while performing pre-operation checks: Remove main switch key.

    MAINTENANCE Spark Plug Inspection You should periodically remove and inspect the spark plug. Dirty or worn spark plugs can cause poor per- formance. When removing or installing the spark plug, be careful not to damage the insulator. A damaged insulator could allow external sparks, which could lead to explo- sion or fire.
