Overview

Interchange Panels

The Multiplexer is designed to connect to an interchange panel, which

"breaks out" the signal into the ports. These panels are "passive"

distribution panels, accepting the input from the MUX and distributing

it to the network.

This section describes the various models of interchange panels that

are compatible with the 8-port PCI ACC product. Each interchange

panel is designed for a speciﬁc serial communications standard.

The following interchange panels that are compatible with the 8-port

PCI ACC Multiplexer. Individual illustrations for each of the

interchange panels appear later in this section.
