Ensure all components are dry prior to mating sleds/batteries with peripheral devices. Mating wet components may cause damage not covered by the warranty. - Page 7 Sliding the Apple Device into the Sled 1. Remove the front cap and slide your iPad mini into the sled. Note: Be careful that the connectors are not accidentally damaged. 2. Replace the front cap by tightening the two attached TORX (T6) screws.
- Page 8 Charging Using the Power Supply Adapter Note: Use the power supply adapter that came with the Captuvo SL62 iPad mini sled to charge the iOS device and the sled simultaneously. Note: Make sure that the connector is positioned correctly in relation to the port and is securely inserted into the sled.
- Page 9 Charging using USB to PC Note: Updates to sled firmware and plugins can only be made using the USB to PC cable. When the iOS device is in the sled and it is connected to a PC/laptop, only the sled charges. The iOS device cannot be charged or updated via USB.
