VALVE ADAPTOR
• To operate the Inflator, remove the hose which contains the valve adaptor and pressure
gauge as shown in figure F by lifting up on valve adaptor lever and pulling outwards from
unit.
• Attach the hose to the Inflator as shown in figure G by turning the hand nut counter
clockwise to loosen, inserting the hose fitting into the hand nut, and then tightening the
hand nut around the fitting by turning clockwise.
• Position the lever of the valve adaptor straight up.
• Push the valve adaptor down over the threaded section of the valve stem, or over one of
the accessories provided with your Inflator.
• When the adaptor is down all the way over the threads, press the lever down to lock it
in place.
• To release the adaptor from valve stem or accessory nozzles, lift the lever straight up
and pull the adaptor off.
• Return the hose to the unit and lock it in place by pressing the valve adaptor lever
down.
• Operate your Inflator only with the nozzles included.
• Make sure that the universal valve adaptor lever is firmly locked down in place before
turning the Inflator on.
• An accessory can also be placed directly into the Inflator Hand Nut (following steps
outlined above) and used without the valve adaptor and pressure gauge as shown in
figure H
NOTE: Many inflatables, especially air mattresses, have an internal flap that prevents air
loss during inflation. Unless this flap is displaced by the nozzle the mattress will not
inflate. Push the nozzle firmly into the valve to ensure that you push this flap out of the
way.
HOSE AND PRESSURE GAUGE
CAUTION: Never carry the inflator by the hose.
The pressure gauge, which is located on the hose, will give a pressure reading in P.S.I.
(pounds per square inch) as well as in Bar.
In the case of tire inflating, it is recommended that the pressure reading be verified by
checking with a separate tire gauge.
To obtain a more accurate pressure measurement, turn the Inflator OFF when reading
the gauge.
WARNING: Do not leave inflator running unattended. It could burst tires or other
items.
