f Always check for damaged or worn out parts before
using the cooler/warmer. Broken parts will affect
the operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn
parts immediately.
f When the cooler/warmer is not in use, store it in a secure
place out of the reach of children. Inspect it for good
working condition prior to storage and before re-use.
Cooler function
f This unit will take about 30-60min to cool to 7ºC ±2
when ambient temperature is at 25ºC. The higher the
ambient temperature (Room Temperature) the higher
the cooler temperature will be.
f Pre-chilled items will assist the fridge to cool down faster.
f The cooler will continue to operate as long as the unit
is plugged in.
f After being unplugged the unit will remain cool for
a period of time.
f The contents of the unit will come up to room temperature
over time and caution should be exercised to ensure
food does not spoil.
Warmer function
f The unit will take about 30 minutes to warm to 65ºC
(149ºF) ± 2, Pre-heated items will assist the warmer
to heat up faster.
f The warmer will continue to operate as long as the
unit is plugged in.
f The warmer will automatically cycle on and off to
prevent overheating.
f After being unplugged the unit will remain warm for
a period of time.
f The contents of the unit will drop to room temperature
over time and caution should be exercised to ensure
food does not spoil.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
f Switch unit off, unplug power cord and allow it to cool
or heat up to room temperature.
f Wipe the inside with a clean, damp cloth. Use a mild
soap with water if necessary. Do not use abrasive
cleaners, scrubbers or household chemicals as this
may damage the finish.
f Do not immerse the unit in water.
f It is recommended that the general condition be
examined before it is used. Keep your cooler
and warmer in good repair by adopting a program
of conscientious repair and maintenance. Have necessary
repairs made by qualified service personnel.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Unit does not turn on.
f Make sure vehicle is running or the ignition is in the
"accessories" position.
f Ensure adapter is correctly installed.
f Check fuse in the tip of the cigarette lighter adapter.
Replace if needed.
f Check fuse for the vehicle cigarette lighter.
Replace if needed.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
Separate collection. This product must not be
disposed of with normal household waste.
Should you find one day that your Black & Decker
product needs replacement, or if it is of no further
use to you, do not dispose of it with household
waste. Make this product available for separate
collection.
Separate collection of used products and packaging
allows materials to be recycled and used again.
Re-use of recycled materials helps prevent
environmental pollution and reduces the demand
for raw materials. Local regulations may provide for
separate collection of electrical products from the
household, at municipal waste sites or by the
