    The SC720/SC820 is intended for single (one) customer operating company service. The SAFECOM SC720/SC820 Data Repeater is a Full Duplex, real-time, digital data repeater system. It simultaneously receives (FREQ X) and transmits (FREQ Y) on two separate RADIO frequencies, in the UHF frequency spectrum.

    Numerous effects must be considered when determining the proper location for mounting the SC720/SC820 Data Repeater antennas. The proper antenna location is site specific for each installation. Contact a Bosch SAFECOM Applications Engineer for recommendations to optimize transmission and reception of RADIO signals.

    SC720/SC820 System Adjustments Settings 5.3.1 The Squelch Threshold Squelch Threshold is the sensitivity of the receiver to RADIO carrier. The Squelch is set by Bosch, at the factory, to 8 db SINAD. HANG FRONT MODE RF AMPLIFIER Figure 4: System Adjustments System Power ON.

    Hang Time is the amount of time that the transmitter will remain on after loss of the receive signal. The Hang Time is set by Bosch, at the factory, so that the transmitter won’t dropout between a poll and acknowledge (ACK) message from the SC9000 Receiver and a Remote communications panel to shorten the total message transmit time.
