Removing a hard drive
NOTE:
Before you remove the old hard drive, be sure to back up the data from the old hard drive so that
you can transfer the data to the new hard drive.
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the access panel
3.
Disconnect the power cable and data cable from the back of the hard drive (1).
4.
Remove the four Torx screws that secure the hard drive to the hard drive bay (2), and then slide the
drive out of the bay toward the inside of the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the hard drive.
