OPERATING THE SUNBOX
A. Use the solar panel to charge the SUNBOX power system
Connect the solar panel to the SOLAR INPUT located on the side of the
SUNBOX power system. Place the solar panel outside in direct sunlight.
The LCD screen will show the charging current and the charging status
on the flashing battery icon. It takes about 10-12 hours under strong
sunlight to fully charge the unit depending on location and sun intensity.
When it is fully charged the battery icon will stop flashing and the screen
will show "FULL" as shown below. At this point you can disconnect the
solar panel from the SUNBOX system.

Note 1: For optimum charging performance, angle the solar panel so that it is directly facing the position of the sun.
Note 2: When the SUNBOX power system is charged by the solar panel for the first 3-4 times, it must be fully charged and fully
discharged completely. After this procedure, it can be charged and used freely. The SUNBOX power system has over-charging
protection; so no need to worry about the batteries over-charging. Over-charging voltage is 7.2V. Over-discharging voltage is 5.2V.
Note 3: You can also charge the SUNBOX power system using an in-car 9 - 14VDC adapter. The CHARGING INDICATOR on the side
of the SUNBOX power system will light up when it is being charged using the DC INPUT. The CHARGING INDICATOR will turn off
when the SUNBOX power system is fully charged.
B. Connecting lights, adaptor tips or other USB devices
When connecting any USB application to the SUNBOX power system, the SUNBOX LCD screen will display the status of each power
output. To save energy, the screen will turn off 30 seconds after the USB applications are disconnected. Press the DISPLAY ON switch
again to turn the screen on.
The 2 USB output ports have the same power capability; meaning the SUNBOX power system is capable of charging 2 mobil phones or
powering 2 LED lights at the same time. The SUNBOX power system can provide charging for various mobile phones, MP3, MP4, MP5
and navigation devices with either USB port. When charging, the LCD shows the internal battery capacity via the battery bar and the
real-time voltage.
